About The Position

Vanderbilt Health is seeking an LCSW-Mental Health Clinician 2 for their Child and Adolescent Psychiatry department. This role involves performing diagnostic assessments and therapeutic treatments with occasional guidance. The clinician will maintain contact with families and community agencies, make referrals, and provide supervisory functions and support for departmental needs. Requirements

  • LIC-Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Tennessee
  • Master's degree
  • 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Clinical Counseling (Intermediate)
  • Patient Diagnosis (Intermediate)
  • Patient Assessment (Intermediate)

Responsibilities

  • Provides initial assessment and develops plan of care according to TN Department of Mental Health Best Practice Guidelines.
  • Provides targeted evidence based interventions into clinical practice with patients.
  • Acts as clinical liaison with patient, family, treatment team and community.
  • Provides leadership and promotes teamwork and professionalism within the department and organization.
  • Contributes to the organization by actively participating in process improvement initiatives and shared decision making.
  • Performs supervisory functions for staff/students and routinely offers support/coverage for departmental needs.
