About The Position

This position coordinates with physicians, staff, and other healthcare providers regarding patient care. In conjunction with the treatment team, the role involves developing individualized treatment plans, monitoring all clinical activities, making recommendations for ongoing treatment along the continuum of care, and developing guidelines for future treatment or discharge from the program. The role also includes providing individual and group counseling sessions and ensuring compliance with quality patient care and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a behavioral health-related field required
• Licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia as an LCSW or LPC and able to practice within the professional per state guidelines required
• At least 2 years of recent outpatient counseling experience required

Nice To Haves

• Dual diagnosis and crisis intervention experience preferred
