About The Position
This role requires a Master's Degree in Social Work and adherence to Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health guidelines for LPS designation. The position involves performing 5150 evaluations and requires CPI certification.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree – Social Work.
- Coursework/Training – All LCSWs must follow the guideline by Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health for LPS designation and keep their designation in current status.
- California Clinical Social Worker License upon hire.
- 2 years’ experience – Healthcare related setting with psychiatric mental health patient population in area of service, preferably in an inpatient setting.
- CPI certification (nonviolent crisis intervention training) within 1 year of hire.
Responsibilities
- Perform 5150 evaluations (designated as Behavioral Health Clinician) within 18 months of hire.
