About The Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling metal commercial door components together with cutting, brazing and variety of arc and gas welding equipment and other auxiliary equipment. Lezzer Lumber is a family-owned and operated company that has been a leader in the building supply materials industry since 1927. We are the 30th largest lumber dealers in the country, comprised of 11 retail stores, 4 commercial door facilities, and a truss manufacturing plant, all located in Pennsylvania. We are a building materials supply company for both commercial and residential building projects, committed to providing quality products and excellent customer service.

Requirements

Mechanically inclined.
Individual to perform manual material handling duties in the shop or in the field.
A good driving record will be required.

Nice To Haves

Previous commercial door manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Measure, cut, and assemble door frames, panels, and other components according to specifications.
Utilize various tools and machinery, including saws, welders, and grinders, to fabricate door parts.
Ensure all fabricated components meet quality standards and adhere to design specifications.
Install commercial doors, frames, and hardware at various job sites, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
Perform on-site adjustments and modifications to ensure a perfect fit and operation of doors.
Follow all safety protocols and regulations during installation processes.
Inspect and troubleshoot existing door installations for any issues or malfunctions.
Perform necessary repairs or replacements of door components to maintain optimal functionality.
Provide regular maintenance services to extend the lifespan of installed doors.
Work closely with project managers and clients to ensure accurate interpretation of project requirements.
Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure timely completion of projects.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions related to door installations and maintenance.
