About The Position

The Layout Fitter measures and marks materials, cuts and shapes them to meet specific requirements, and inspects finished installations to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. The role requires accurate installation work, safe use of hand and power tools and machinery, and effective teamwork and communication in a high-pressure environment. This is a non-union position.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of layout fitting experience.
• Skilled in using hand and power tools and machinery such as drills, saws, and grinders.
• Follow safety procedures and demonstrate a strong understanding of safety protocols.
• Work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
• Pay close attention to detail and maintain accuracy throughout the installation process.
• Have the physical strength and hand-eye coordination needed for the work.
• Work well as part of a team.
• Have strong communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Previous MSHA training.
