About The Position

The Layout Fitter is responsible for accurately measuring, marking, cutting, and shaping materials to meet specific installation requirements. This role also involves inspecting finished installations to ensure they adhere to quality and safety standards. The position requires proficiency with various tools and machinery, a strong understanding of safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• Skilled in using hand and power tools, as well as machinery such as drills, saws, and grinders
• Must follow safety procedures
• Work effectively in a high-pressure environment
• Attention to detail
• Requires physical strength and hand-eye coordination
• Can maintain a high degree of accuracy throughout the installation process
• The ability to work well in a team
• Strong communication skills
• Strong understanding of safety protocols
• At least 3 years layout fitting experience

Nice To Haves

• Previous MSHA training is a plus
