Lay Coach
About The Position
This position is for a Lay Coach at East Ridge High School within the Lake County School District. Lay coaches are compensated with a one-time payment after the completion of their sport/season and satisfactory inventory. To be eligible, applicants must apply for and obtain Athletic Coaching certification through the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE). Applicants will incur costs for certification, fingerprinting, drug testing, and CPR/AED/First Aid certification prior to hire. Human Resources will contact prospective hires to review new hire paperwork and certification requirements.
Requirements
- Must apply for and be eligible for Athletic Coaching certification through the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE).
- Must pay associated costs for FLDOE Certification Fees ($75.00), Fingerprinting ($82.00), Drug Test Fee ($20.00), and CPR/AED/First Aid Certification (Varies).
