The lawyer will prepare Wills, Powers of Attorney, Enduring Guardianships, and associated estate planning documentation. Responsibilities include advising executors, beneficiaries, and families on probate, Letters of Administration, and deceased estate administration, as well as managing estate assets, liabilities, distributions, and other issues. The role also entails advising on family provision claims, Will disputes, and contested estates, including negotiation and litigation. Advising on superannuation, testamentary trusts, and other relevant estate planning issues is also part of the role. The lawyer will manage their own matters with a high degree of autonomy while maintaining strong, empathetic client relationships.
