About The Position
Senske Services is seeking qualified applicants for an Irrigation Technician role. This position involves performing irrigation installation, maintenance checks, repairs, spring start-up, and winterization/blowouts. The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining irrigation equipment, including sprinklers, water lines, pumps, suction devices, valves, and other plumbing equipment. This role requires a strong work ethic, great communication skills, and a customer-first mindset. Requirements
- Minimum two years of experience in irrigation system installation.
- Plumbing and electrical skills for wiring irrigation control equipment.
- Possess a valid driver's license and have a history of safe driving.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening and drug test (THC excluded).
- At least 21 years old or older (requirement to drive a company vehicle).
- Committed to safety and the use of all the proper PPE the job requires.
- Friendly, detail-oriented, and results-oriented.
- Professional demeanor, presenting yourself and the business in a positive, professional way.
- Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform irrigation installation, maintenance checks, repairs, spring start-up, and winterization/blowouts.
- Maintain irrigation equipment, including sprinklers, water lines, pumps, suction devices, valves, and other plumbing equipment.
- Provide product/service information to customers onsite.
- Greet customers with a smile and ensure they are communicated with at each phase of the job as needed.
- Demonstrate a customer-first mindset by providing excellent service.
