About The Position
The Master's Lawn & Pest is seeking an experienced landscaper or current crew leader to join their team as a Lawn Maintenance Lead. This full-time position offers strong compensation, health and retirement benefits, paid time off, and access to great equipment. The role involves leading a 2-3 person crew, managing daily route pace, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring equipment care. The ideal candidate will have a valid FL Driver's License with a clean record, at least 1 year of lawn maintenance experience with commercial equipment, leadership ability, and the stamina to work outdoors in Florida conditions.
Requirements
- Valid FL Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- 1+ years of lawn maintenance experience operating commercial zero-turns, stand-on mowers, trimmers, edgers, and blowers.
- Proven track record of running a 2–3 person crew, managing daily route pace, and maintaining quality standards.
- Ability to lead outdoor crews 8–10 hours a day in Florida conditions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the crew, driving the crew truck/trailer.
- Manage on-site route pace.
- Keep crew members motivated and safe.
- Maintain quality standards, ensuring clean lines, proper edging, thorough cleanup, and property detail on every job.
- Keep trucks, trailers, and power equipment maintained, clean, and organized.
- Represent The Master's professionally when speaking with homeowners and property managers.
