About The Position
This role involves leading lawn maintenance crews, performing various lawn care duties, and operating power equipment. The position requires a strong work ethic, team collaboration, and knowledge of landscaping methods and equipment. Communication with customers is also a key aspect of the job.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the landscape, construction, or grounds maintenance industry.
- Capable of operating required equipment (zero turn mowers & walk-behinds) and landscaping tools in a safe and responsible manner.
- Time management skills.
- Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools, and equipment required for lawn maintenance tasks.
- A valid Chauffeur's License and Medical Certification required.
Nice To Haves
- Good work ethic and ability to work well with the crew (team player).
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead lawn maintenance crews.
- Cut grass, trim edges, blow trimmings, and perform weeding.
- Perform landscaping and other lawn care duties.
- Operate power equipment including lawn tractors, lawn mowers, line trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, pruning saws, sod cutters, chain saws, and snow blowers.
- Assist in loading/unloading and daily inspections of trucks and trailers.
- Comply with all company policies, regulations, and local health and safety laws.
- Communicate with customers politely and courteously.
