About The Position

At Senske Services, Application Technicians are responsible for providing lawn care services to residential or commercial customer properties. This involves using hand and powered equipment to apply products to treat lawns, performing soil analysis, and controlling insects, diseases, and unsightly weeds. Technicians are also expected to educate homeowners on proper lawn maintenance, advise on lawn and landscape problems, and determine appropriate solutions for their unique needs. A key part of the role is to sell/upsell additional services to existing and new customers, contributing to clientele growth. Strong communication skills are essential for providing product/service information and resolving customer concerns onsite. The position is hourly and non-exempt, with competitive pay and opportunities for career advancement.

Requirements

Possess a valid driver's license and have a history of safe driving
Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening and drug test (THC excluded)
At least 21 years old or older (requirement to drive a company vehicle)

Ability to work in varying weather conditions
Possess Strong Problem-Solving Abilities

Nice To Haves

Washington State Commercial Operator Pesticide License (Turf & Ornamental)
Prior experience applying herbicides/pesticides in lawn care

Responsibilities

Provide services to residential or commercial customer properties in a timely, safe manner
Use hand and powered equipment to apply products to treat customers' lawns
Perform soil analysis
Control insects, diseases, and unsightly weeds
Educate homeowners on proper lawn maintenance
Advise on lawn and landscape problems
