As an Arbor-Nomics lawn spray technician, you will maintain turf, ornamental trees, and shrubs on homeowner properties.

Requirements

  • Possess a valid driver’s license and have a history of safe driving
  • Ability to pass a re-employment background screening and drug test (THC excluded)
  • At least 21 years old or older (requirement to drive a company vehicle)
  • Committed to safety and use of all the proper PPE the job requires
  • Friendly and dedicated to great customer service
  • Ability to work in varied weather conditions
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, work independently and as part of a team
  • Possess strong problem-solving abilities
  • Encourage a positive team atmosphere and willingness to help others

Responsibilities

  • Maintain turf, ornamental trees, and shrubs on homeowner properties
  • Apply fertilizer and weed control to clients’ lawns
  • Apply other lawn care applications such as mosquito, outdoor pest, fire ant control, fungicide treatments and applications for disease and pests on ornamental trees and shrubs
  • Organize production and service calls while maintaining customer relationships
  • Schedule wear-and-tear vehicle maintenance
  • Responsible for filling the tanks with appropriate chemicals
  • Drive company service vehicles on service routes
  • Sell add-on services to existing clients and develop new customers
