About The Position

Naturescape of Lombard, IL is seeking to hire a Lawn Care Specialist to provide our customers with outstanding services for their residential and commercial properties. This role is ideal for someone looking for a career in lawn and landscape care with a stable, family-owned business and who wishes to be a valued and respected member of a close-knit team. The primary responsibility is to be the face of the company in the field, managing a route and transforming landscapes. The role involves precision lawn care, lawn aeration, mowing, tree/shrub care and pruning, and mosquito control. Specialists also act as consultants and problem-solvers, assessing lawn health and landscape needs, and communicating effectively with clients. The role requires adaptability, as specialists pivot to snow removal in winter. This is a licensed specialist position requiring state pesticide certifications. The company emphasizes continuous learning and development, encouraging a 'learning by doing' approach.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Motivated with a desire to learn

  • Previous experience as a general laborer, construction worker, landscaper, groundskeeper, or lawn mower.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding services for residential and commercial properties.
