About The Position

Naturescape of Sheboygan, WI is seeking to hire a Lawn Care Specialist to provide our customers with outstanding services for their residential and commercial properties. This role offers a career in lawn and landscape care with a stable, family-owned business, where you will be a valued and respected member of a close-knit team. The position involves independent work in the great outdoors, with flexible scheduling options for full-time, part-time, and seasonal employees. Your "office" changes daily as you navigate to residential and commercial properties to complete precision lawn care, lawn aeration, mowing, tree/shrub care and pruning, and mosquito control. You will also serve as the face of the company in the field, acting as a consultant and problem-solver, explaining services and building rapport with customers. Adaptability is key, as you will pivot to snow removal and other winter work during colder months. This is a licensed specialist position requiring state pesticide certifications.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Motivated with a desire to learn
  • Willingness to obtain state pesticide certifications

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a general laborer, construction worker, landscaper, groundskeeper, or lawn mower
  • Willingness to relocate (for management opportunities)

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding services for residential and commercial properties.
  • Manage a route and transform landscapes.
  • Navigate to residential and commercial properties.
  • Complete precision lawn care, lawn aeration, mowing, tree/shrub care and pruning, and mosquito control.
  • Enhance a customer's home and their pride in their property through lawn and landscape work.
  • Assess lawn health and landscape needs.
  • Build rapport with customers.
  • Explain the benefits of services like aeration or tree care.
  • Ensure customers are happy, informed, and confident in the services provided.
  • Pivot to snow removal and other winter work during colder months.
  • Obtain and maintain state pesticide certifications.
