About The Position

Naturescape of Decatur, IL is seeking to hire a Lawn Care Specialist to provide our customers with outstanding services for their residential and commercial properties. This role offers a career in lawn and landscape care with a stable, family-owned business, where you can be a valued and respected member of a close-knit team. The position involves independent work in the great outdoors, with flexible scheduling options for full-time, part-time, and seasonal employees. You will be the face of the company in the field, managing a route and transforming landscapes. Your "office" changes daily as you navigate to residential and commercial properties to complete precision lawn care, lawn aeration, mowing, tree/shrub care and pruning, and mosquito control. You will also explain the benefits of services like aeration and discuss tree care, ensuring clients are happy, informed, and confident. Adaptability is key, as you will pivot to snow removal during winter months. This is a licensed specialist position requiring state pesticide certifications. We provide paid training and do not expect prior lawn or landscape experience. We are looking for individuals with a "can-do" attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.

Requirements

Valid driver's license and good driving record
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Motivated with a desire to learn

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as a general laborer, construction worker, landscaper, groundskeeper, or lawn mower.
