Naturescape of Decatur, IL is seeking to hire a Lawn Care Specialist to provide our customers with outstanding services for their residential and commercial properties. Requirements

• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Motivated with a desire to learn
• Willingness to be coached
• Can-do attitude

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a general laborer, construction worker, landscaper, groundskeeper, or lawn mower
• Willingness to relocate (for management opportunities)
• Willing to work with current drill schedules (for military friendly aspect)

Responsibilities

• Manage a route and transform landscapes across the service area.
• Complete precision lawn care, lawn aeration, mowing, tree/shrub care and pruning, and mosquito control.
• Assess lawn health and landscape needs.
• Communicate clearly and kindly with clients, explaining services and addressing questions.
• Adapt to seasonal changes, including pivoting to snow removal in winter.
• Obtain and maintain state pesticide certifications.
• Learn and apply knowledge of turfgrass species, aeration timing, and other lawn care best practices.
