Atlanta - Lawn Care Technician / Specialist
About The Position
Naturescape of Atlanta, GA is seeking to hire a Lawn Care Specialist to provide our customers with outstanding services for their residential and commercial properties. This role offers a career in lawn and landscape care with a stable, family-owned business, where you will be a valued and respected member of a close-knit team. The position involves independent work in the great outdoors, with flexible scheduling options for full-time, part-time, and seasonal employees. Your primary responsibility is to be the face of our company in the field, managing a route and transforming landscapes. You will typically work 10-hour days, 4 days per week, with your "office" changing daily. This is a licensed specialist position requiring state pesticide certifications. Adaptability is key, as you will pivot to snow removal in the winter to ensure customers stay safe and mobile. We provide paid training and do not require prior lawn or landscape experience, focusing instead on a "can-do" attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Motivated with a desire to learn
- Willingness to work with current drill schedules (for military personnel)
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a general laborer, construction worker, landscaper, groundskeeper, or lawn mower.
Responsibilities
- Provide customers with outstanding services for their residential and commercial properties.
- Manage a route and transform landscapes.
- Complete precision lawn care, lawn aeration, mowing, tree/shrub care and pruning, and mosquito control.
- Assess lawn health and landscape needs.
- Communicate clearly and kindly with clients, explaining services and addressing questions.
- Adapt to seasonal changes, including performing snow removal in winter.
- Obtain and maintain state pesticide certifications.
