About The Position

At Lawn Doctor of Denton, we're looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals to join our team as Lawn Care Technicians. You'll be the face of our company in the field—helping customers achieve healthier, greener lawns while providing exceptional service they can count on. We believe that when our team grows, our business grows. That's why we invest in training, development, and creating opportunities for long-term success. This is a hands-on position with full paid training provided. No lawn care experience? No problem. We'll teach you how to identify turf types, lawn stress, and common lawn diseases, apply fertilizers, herbicides, and insecticides safely and effectively, perform core aeration and seeding services that improve lawn health, and independently manage residential and commercial lawn care routes. All we ask is that you bring a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and a commitment to helping customers love their lawns.

Requirements

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to safely operate and maintain equipment
Ability to lift 50+ pounds
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass a drug test and background check
Positive attitude and commitment to excellent customer service
Strong work ethic
Willingness to learn

Responsibilities

Applying fertilizers, weed control products, and lawn treatments using ride-on and walk-behind equipment
Performing core aeration and seeding services
Communicating clearly and professionally with customers and the team
Maintaining equipment and assisting with basic shop tasks
Identifying customer needs and recommending beneficial additional services
