About The Position

Smith Lawnscapes LLC, a family-oriented landscape construction and maintenance company, is seeking a dependable Lawn Care/Mowing Crew Lead to join our dedicated team.

Requirements

Experience operating landscape or construction equipment preferred
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Leadership or Crew Lead Experience Preferred
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Ability to lift 50+ lbs, bend, kneel, and perform physical labor
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required)

Responsibilities

Lead, train, motivate, and supervise mowing crew members.
Delegate daily tasks and keep the crew productive and on schedule.
Perform and oversee mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, and property clean-up.
Inspect completed work and correct quality issues before leaving the property.
Follow daily routes and communicate delays or job concerns to management.
Ensure trucks, trailers, mowers, and equipment are clean, organized, and properly maintained.
Report equipment damage or maintenance needs immediately.
Enforce company safety procedures and proper PPE use.
Provide professional and courteous customer service.
Accurately complete timesheets, job information, and required documentation.
Report customer concerns, accidents, damages, or employee issues to management.
Lead by example through professionalism, punctuality, attendance, and a strong work ethic.
