Requirements

• Must be enrolled in an ABA-accredited law school at the time of application
• Must be a third-year law school student
• Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or better
• 6 months of intern experience in a higher education legal office
• Strong academic credentials, as confirmed by an academic transcript
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, as demonstrated by application materials, interview, and references
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting research
• Drafting litigation papers
• Negotiating and drafting agreements
• Advising on University policies
• Responding to civil rights complaints
• Drafting policies
