About The Position

The Law Fellow is assigned a diverse range of research and projects handled by the Office of the General Counsel, including issues related to labor and employment, litigation, contracts, research, intellectual property, tax and non-profit law, higher education law, privacy, compliance, business transactions, construction, real estate, international programs, and general business transactions. The Fellow will review and draft agreements, assist with policy development, draft position statements and cease and desist letters and monitor trends and news in higher education. This is a one-year fellowship, which may be renewed for one additional year.

Requirements

  • Must be a qualified candidate for a fellowship position.
  • Must be able to conduct research and projects.
  • Must be able to review and draft agreements.
  • Must be able to assist with policy development.
  • Must be able to draft position statements and cease and desist letters.
  • Must be able to monitor trends and news in higher education.
