About The Position

As a Law Enforcement Officer in Lihue, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients at the Airport. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As an Law Enforcement Officerr at a major transportation location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support travelers, employees, and visitors with exceptional service and communication. Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional law enforcement experience in the U.S. after graduating from a certified law enforcement academy (Federal, State, or County level)
  • Experience in de-escalation, incident report writing, patrolling in high traffic areas, and communication skills.
  • Graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program (must provide credentials upon applying)
  • Valid Driver's License
  • 22+ years of age
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
  • Applicant must complete one of the following approved programs: Certified State law enforcement recruit training, Certified County law enforcement recruit training, Federal law enforcement training, or Programs approved by the Director.
  • No felony convictions or convictions for abuse of a household member under Lautenberg Amendment to the Gun Control Act of 1968 (18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(9)) or documented truthfulness infractions in violation of Giglio/Henthorn for federal impeachment proceedings.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions.
  • Must be able to supervise Contractor’s personnel and work effectively with airport management, tenants, other law enforcement agencies and the public on matters relating to security disputes, complaints on the performance, conduct or behavior of subordinate employees.
  • Have at least two years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
  • Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 22 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
