As a Part-Time Law Enforcement Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Law Enforcement Officer at a major transportation location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support travelers, employees, and visitors with exceptional service and communication. Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional law enforcement experience in the U.S. after graduating from a certified law enforcement academy (Federal, State, or County level)
  • Experience in de-escalation, incident report writing, patrolling in high traffic areas, and communication skills.
  • Graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program (must provide credentials upon applying)
  • Valid Driver's License
  • 22+ years of age
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
  • No felony convictions or convictions for abuse of a household member under Lautenberg Amendment to the Gun Control Act of 1968 (18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(9)) or documented truthfulness infractions in violation of Giglio/Henthorn for federal impeachment proceedings
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Be able to lift up to 20 pounds, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols
  • Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents
  • Support travelers, employees, and visitors with exceptional service and communication
  • Supervise Contractor’s personnel and work effectively with airport management, tenants, other law enforcement agencies and the public on matters relating to security disputes, complaints on the performance, conduct or behavior of subordinate employees.
