About The Position

We are seeking a highly driven Law Clerk for our Litigation Team with experience in various areas of the law including, but not limited to, Employment Law (ADA, FMLA, Title VII, etc.), Government and Administrative Law, General Litigation (Construction, Collection, Contracts, Personal Injury, etc.), Corporate & Business Law, Bankruptcy, and Contract/Lease review and interpretation.

Requirements

High-level computer skills, with experience in electronic document management systems a plus.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Outlook.
Skilled in legal research software (Lexis, Casemaker, etc.).
Strong ability to compose both business and legal correspondence.
Excellent organizational skills and a strong work ethic.
Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and accurately under pressure.
Capable of managing a diverse workload and adapting to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Effective time management with the ability to establish priorities.
Strong initiative and problem-solving abilities.
A proactive and dedicated approach, taking pride in one’s work.

Responsibilities

Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents.
Conduct legal research, analysis, and writing.
Attend court hearings, depositions, and manage all aspects of client representation both inside and outside the courtroom.
Negotiate, review, revise, and draft various types of contracts.
Create, analyze, and modify operating documents for legal entities, including corporations, LLCs, and partnerships.
Working closely with in-house counsel to offer legal advice that is cognizant of business needs and concerns of client.
