About The Position

Chief Justice Sharon L. Kennedy of the Supreme Court of Ohio is accepting applications for the position of Law Clerk or Judicial Attorney in her chambers. The position will commence on September 8, 2026, and will run through November 30, 2027. The successful applicant will be expected to perform his or her duties on a daily basis in the Thomas J. Moyer Ohio Judicial Center in Columbus.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze arguments presented in a variety of motions, memoranda, and briefs involving all areas of the Supreme Court’s jurisdiction under Article IV, Section 2(B) of the Ohio Constitution.
• Research and prepare initial drafts of merit opinions at the direction of the Chief Justice.
