About The Position

The overall purpose of the Laundry position is to maintain the cleanliness and tidiness within well-established guidelines and assigned areas. This role is within a nursing home facility and involves direct participation in daily housekeeping and laundry functions to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for residents and maintain high standards of housekeeping excellence.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one (1) year job experience in housekeeping, healthcare, hotel, hospitality, or other similar work situation.
• Committed to customer service.
• Friendly, responsible, dependable, team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties and responsibilities with assigned functional area within a nursing home facility.
• Follows cleaning schedule as outlined for the housekeeping department.
• Provide a safe and sanitary environment for our residents.
• Ensure the facility maintains high standards of housekeeping excellence.
• Participates directly in daily housekeeping and laundry functions as required.
