About The Position

Join Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) as a Laundry Worker in a long-term care facility. The role helps maintain the cleanliness and availability of linens and garments and contributes to a clean, welcoming environment for residents, staff, and guests. The worker collects, sorts, washes, dries, folds, and distributes linens and personal clothing; operates laundry equipment; keeps activity records; reports maintenance or safety issues; and follows infection-control and universal-precautions policies. The role also involves positive customer-service interactions and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds; stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Work around cleaning products.
• Follow oral and written instructions and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities
