About The Position

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Laundry Worker to maintain the cleanliness and availability of linens and garments in a long-term care facility. The role contributes to a sanitary, welcoming environment and supports positive experiences for residents and customers. The Laundry Worker works with residents, staff, guests, facility administration, and HCSG leadership while completing daily laundry tasks.

Requirements

• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Be able to work around cleaning products.
• Be able to follow oral and written instructions and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests and provide excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
