About The Position

Join Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) as a Laundry Worker in a long-term care facility. The role helps maintain the cleanliness and availability of linens and garments and contributes to a clean, welcoming environment for residents, staff, and guests. Work includes handling laundry, operating equipment, maintaining activity records, and following infection-control and safety practices. The position is part-time with flexible availability. Starting pay is $17.25 per hour; actual wages may vary based on location, experience, staffing needs, and other business factors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Work around cleaning products.
• Follow oral and written instructions and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Reside within the service area.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection-control and universal-precautions policies to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests and provide excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
