About The Position

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Laundry Worker to maintain the cleanliness and availability of linens and garments in a long-term care facility. The role supports a sanitary and welcoming environment by handling laundry, safely operating equipment, following infection-control policies, and serving residents, staff, and guests. Employees should be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks and work around cleaning products. Residency within the service area is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Work around cleaning products.
• Follow oral and written instructions and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection-control and universal-precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
