About The Position

Health Systems Cooperative Laundries is currently hiring for a FULL TIME General Laundry Worker to join our team! The hours for this position are 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM with mandatory overtime. The role involves feeding linen into machines, hand folding linen, and inspecting for stains or holes while monitoring for quality.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of safety standards.
• Proactive and self-motivated, with an attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to work and communicate in a richly diverse environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift.
• Perform repetitive motions throughout the shift such as push, pull, and lift.
• Energetic, self-starter.
• Basic ability to speak and understand English.
• Attendance is an essential function of the job.
• The employee must constantly push and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
