About The Position

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Laundry Worker to maintain the cleanliness and availability of linens and garments in a long-term care facility. The role supports a clean and welcoming environment and contributes to residents’ and customers’ experiences. The Laundry Worker collects, processes, and distributes linens and personal clothing, operates laundry equipment, follows infection-control practices, and reports maintenance or safety issues. The position also involves interacting positively with residents, staff, and guests and completing other assigned duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Work around cleaning products.
• Follow oral and written instructions and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
