About The Position

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Laundry Worker to help maintain the cleanliness and availability of linens and garments in a long-term care facility. The role involves handling laundry from collection through distribution, safely operating laundry equipment, keeping activity records, and reporting maintenance or safety issues. The Laundry Worker follows infection-control and universal-precaution policies and interacts positively with residents, staff, and guests while providing customer service. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds; stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Work around cleaning products.
• Follow oral and written instructions and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities
