About The Position
Healthcare Services Group is hiring a Laundry Worker to maintain the cleanliness and availability of linens and garments in a long-term care facility. The role supports a sanitary environment and positive experiences for residents, staff, and guests. The starting pay rate is $18.00 per hour. High school diploma or equivalent and previous laundry experience are preferred, but previous laundry experience is not required.
Requirements
- Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
- Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Work around cleaning products.
- Follow oral and written instructions and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
- Reside within the service area.

Responsibilities
- Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
- Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
- Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
- Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
