About The Position
Iowa Veterans Home is looking to fill a full time Laundry Worker 1 position. This role involves operating various commercial laundry machines such as washer, dryer, extractor, flat-ironer, fast-finisher, and folding machines to wash, dry, and fold laundry. The position also requires the ability to lift and carry containers of soiled, wet, or folded laundry to move them to various places within the laundry area.

Responsibilities
- Operate various commercial laundry machines such as washer, dryer, extractor, flat-ironer, fast-finisher and folding machines in order to wash, dry and fold laundry.
- Lift and carry containers of soiled, wet or folded laundry in order to move the laundry to various places within the laundry area.
