About The Position

The Laundry Technician washes, folds, bags, and delivers clean garments to assigned warehouses or other areas, and removes and returns soiled bags from assigned work areas. The role involves performing repetitive tasks, maintaining a clean work area, following company procedures and safety rules, and working individually or with a team. The employee may need to fill in during staff shortages and drive to various work locations, customer sites, or company facilities when necessary. The position has no supervisory responsibilities. The stated schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with occasional Saturday and Sunday work. Compensation is $17–$18 per hour. Requirements

No education requirement.
Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
Must complete safety and task training certification.
A valid driver's license may be required based on business needs; employees who drive for work must maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record and meet company driving eligibility requirements.

Nice To Haves

Six months to one year of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Forklift certification may be required.

Responsibilities
