About The Position
The Laundry Technician performs commercial laundry production and distribution activities. Responsibilities include sorting, folding, and processing linen, as well as counting, restocking, and delivering inventory carts to various facility departments.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and speak English to follow workflow instructions and collaborate with the team.
- Must be able to work evenings, holidays, and weekends as needed.
- Applicants must pass a background check, drug screen, and provide proof of employment eligibility in the U.S.
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of commercial laundry experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Veterans and candidates with military experience are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Sort, fold, and iron clean laundry according to specifications.
- Load industrial dryers and manage linen backlogs.
- Count, restock, and deliver exchange carts to designated department floors and clinical areas.
- Receive and sort soiled linen using proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Inspect linens to ensure high quality control standards.
- Clean and organize the workspace at the end of the shift, ensuring all linens are properly covered.
