About The Position

As a Laundry Service Technician I, you will support the operation of our commercial laundry facility by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial laundry equipment and supporting building systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically inclined technician looking to grow their career in a state-of-the-art industrial laundry environment. Requirements

  • Previous technical experience working with commercial or industrial laundry equipment is required.
  • Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and troubleshooting principles.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and maintenance documentation.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and internet applications.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Sense of urgency with a strong commitment to equipment reliability and production efficiency.
  • Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds, with assistance for heavier equipment.
  • Ability to work around industrial machinery, in confined spaces, and in hot, humid environments.
  • Reliable transportation required.
  • Must be available to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Required to pass a background check, drug test, and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs on commercial and industrial laundry equipment.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, and chemical dispensing systems.
  • Assist with maintaining tunnel washers, dryers, ironers, towel folders, conveyors, overhead rail systems, air compressors, boilers, steam generators, and other facility support equipment.
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, equipment diagrams, and maintenance procedures.
  • Complete work orders, maintenance documentation, and parts requests accurately and on time.
  • Utilize basic computer applications to document repairs and communicate with team members and vendors.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with fellow technicians, vendors, and other departments to minimize equipment downtime.
