About The Position

The Laundry Tech receives, sorts, and washes soiled linen from locations within and outside the medical center. The role loads and unloads washers and dryers, folds linens, and operates laundry equipment, including folders, ironers, and hot patches. The Laundry Tech processes clean linens for distribution to patient care areas, ancillary departments, and outside facilities, and prepares, delivers, and picks up linens at locations within the medical center and off-campus facilities. The standard shift is 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., with rotating weekends and holidays. A high school diploma in General Studies is preferred, as is a Class E driver’s license. No prior experience is required or listed.

Responsibilities
