About The Position

Responsible for completing processing of linen to meet quality and efficiency standards in a laundry facility.

Requirements

• Able to respond to basic verbal commands
• Effectively follow directions
• Organized
• Detail oriented
• Able to stand for a minimum of 8/10 hours per shift
• Able to push, pull and/or lift up to 50 lbs
• May be required to bend, reach and/or lift up to 25 lbs
• Participate fully in company health and safety programs and comply with all company OSHA policies and procedures
• Follow all lawful employer safety and health rules
• Wear and/or use Personal Protective Equipment, when and how instructed
• Report hazardous conditions to management
• Report any job-related injury or illness to management and seek treatment promptly

Nice To Haves

• Multi-lingual a plus
• Laundry or housekeeping experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Sort clean and/or soiled linen for processing
• Feed clean linen through moving belt folding machines
• Manually fold small pieces of terry
• Meet or exceed quality and productivity standards
• Operate Flat Worker Ironer, Feeders folders, Shakers, Stackers, and Wrappers
• Tie out - Laundry: Ties bundles of clean dried linen and terry
• Sort through linen products, depositing linen products into respective containers
• Prevent accidents by working safely
• Track production
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Notify Shift Manager of any mechanical or material issues
• Perform other duties as required
