About The Position
The Laundry Production Attendant performs all stages of linen processing including collecting, transporting, sorting, washing, drying, ironing, folding, organizing, and delivering of linen used in the hotel.
Requirements
- No prior education or training needed.
- High volume/ fast-paced environment experience preferred.
- Basic English – verbal.
- Must have flexible work availability- all shifts, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Keep track of and record all linens produced from the ironer and report any shortages or discrepancies to the Laundry Supervisor.
- Assist with preparing, counting, and recording new linen and discard linens- properly mark and record.
- Assist with monthly linen inventory.
- Separate, mark, and record stained and discard linen, place in appropriate carts.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and report damages/malfunction of equipment.
- Must be able to cross-train in other Housekeeping and Laundry related areas.
