About The Position

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring all Housekeeping and Food & Beverage linen requirements are stocked in respective closets as requested to meet the expectations of Omni standards. This role involves operating various laundry machinery, sorting, pressing, cleaning, and storing hotel linen, and maintaining inventory levels. The position is located in the interior of the hotel and may involve exposure to extreme heat, humidity, and hazardous cleaning chemicals.

Requirements

• Ability to operate dryers, washing machines, ironers & chute
• Ability to sort, press, clean & store hotel linen
• Ability to deliver clean linen to the proper linen closets by item and record deliveries
• Ability to operate towel folder
• Ability to clean all dryers at least 3 times a day
• Ability to inventory and maintain par levels of all linen closets
• Ability to clean area and blow down all machines
• Ability to inventory housekeeping linen closets daily
• Ability to deliver Housekeeping and Banquet linen to specified closets
• Ability to stock all closets according to specific par levels
• Ability to pick up dirty linen from Banquet pantries
• Ability to empty chute daily
• Ability to empty dryers and assist in folding terry
• Ability to deliver robes to linen closets and stock according to par
• Ability to empty trash and keep work areas clean and free of lint
