About The Position

The Laundry worker will wash and dry linen and resident's clothes. He/She will see that all clean linen is returned to the linen storage area as quickly as possible. He/She will see that resident's clothes are promptly returned to the owners, are properly identified, and report losses and damages of resident's laundry. He/She maintains an inventory of linens and laundry supplies.

Requirements

• Must have an understanding of standard procedures used in laundry services for patients and in caring for clothes, linens, equipment, and supplies.
• Has an interest in learning.
• Ability to cooperate.
• Willing to work under supervision.
• Must have the ability to work well with coworkers.

Nice To Haves

• High School diploma preferred.
• Previous experience preferable but not essential.
• Worker receives on the job training with supervision.
