About The Position

The Laundry Driver is responsible for delivering clean linen and picking up soiled linen at each Hotel property. This role requires a customer service and team-oriented individual with the ability to perform duties with extreme care and safety, follow directions, and adapt to changing environmental conditions. The driver will work in a fast-paced, busy, and sometimes stressful environment and must be able to read, write, and verbally communicate in English.

• Valid Driver’s License and D.M.V. Driving History Printout (no more than 30 days old).
• Minimum age requirement: 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Perform a complete inspection of the vehicle per D.O.T. Regulations prior to driving.
• Assure fuel controls are properly maintained.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance checks (oil, water, fuel, air, and other additives) and report any mechanical or physical damage observed on the vehicle.
• Ensure the vehicle's appearance is clean.
• Load and unload hampers (soil and clean linen), assuring loads are properly secured.
• Transport linen and garments to and from the Hotel properties.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned and instructed by management.
