About The Position

Xanitos, Inc. is hiring a Full-Time Laundry Equipment Technician for the 1st shift at Erlanger Health System in Chattanooga, TN. This role involves operating equipment used to wash, dry, and finish laundry. Immediate offers will be extended for qualified candidates.

Requirements

• Experience in health industry a plus
• Background Screening and Drug Test required
• FLU Vaccine required
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent required.
• Successful applicants for this position must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment unless they request and are granted a medical or religious exemption.

Responsibilities

• Weighs linen before loading equipment to insure correct weight.
• Loads and unloads equipment.
• Selects correct wash formula based on load type.
• Monitors linen wash quality.
• Reports equipment issues to maintenance department.
• Follows instructions given by lead(s) or management.
• Wears appropriate protective apparel when necessary.
• Keeps work area clean including lunch room.
• Cleans carts when required.
• Completes wash load and dryer load reports.
