About The Position

The Oasis at Death Valley is seeking a Laundry Driver to join their Housekeeping team. This role involves driving a laundry truck to pick up and deliver laundry between various locations within the Oasis at Death Valley, which includes the historic Inn and Ranch, restaurants, gift shops, and a golf course, all situated within Death Valley National Park. The position is full-time and year-round, offering a unique opportunity to live and work in a stunning natural environment. Requirements

Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
Must be able to work in outdoor environments with extreme temperatures.
Ability to reach, stoop, bend, wipe, push, and pull.
Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Delivers & picks-up linen from the Ranch, Inn, and other locations as directed by the Executive Housekeeper.
Loads and unloads, or assists in loading and unloading of the truck.
Stocks Linen Closet.
Strips rooms of soiled linen.
Assists with monthly linen inventory.
Inspects and maintains vehicle supplies and equipment, including gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes, in order to ensure that vehicle is in proper working condition.
Obeys traffic laws, and follows established route and transportation procedures.
Maneuvers truck into loading or unloading position, following signals from crew as needed.
Performs other laundry duties (loading and unloading washers and dryers and folding laundry) when deliveries are completed.
All other duties as assigned.
