About The Position

We’re looking for a Laundry Attendant to help keep our hotel running smoothly and ensure our guests have fresh, clean linens throughout their stay. Hospitality can open a lot of doors. As a Laundry Attendant, you’ll play an important behind-the-scenes role in creating a great guest experience. You’ll make sure hotel linens are properly sorted, washed, dried, folded, and ready for our Housekeeping team to use. This is a great role for someone who enjoys staying busy, takes pride in their work, and can confidently manage multiple tasks throughout the day. You’ll also work closely with our Housekeeping team to keep linen closets stocked and help wherever you’re needed.

Requirements

• Ability to be on feet for up to 8 hours.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb.

Responsibilities

• Sort hotel linens and prepare them for washing according to hotel standards.
• Identify linens that need to be set aside for reclaim, repair, or special washing.
• Safely operate washers according to machine instructions and chemical standards.
• Load and operate dryers according to equipment specifications and hotel standards.
• Fold and organize clean linens so they are ready for use.
• Help keep linen closets stocked, organized, and ready for the Housekeeping team.
• Work closely with Housekeepers and provide support when needed to help the team meet daily goals.
• Manage multiple assignments while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
• Follow safe work practices and proper procedures when handling equipment, linens, and laundry chemicals.
• Complete other duties as needed to support the Housekeeping team and hotel.
