Requirements

  • Hotel Operations or Customer Service preferred
  • Communicate effectively with others
  • Works productively with a team
  • Effective multitasking skills
  • Composure and patience under pressure
  • Skilled in working with multiple computer programs- Must be comfortable using devices to communicate with team members and to complete checklists daily (i.e. Alice system.)

Responsibilities

  • Wash, dry, fold, organize, and distribute hotel linens and laundry while maintaining cleanliness, efficiency, and quality standards.
  • Wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens, towels, and other laundry items in accordance with hotel standards
  • Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently, including washers, dryers, and ironing/folding machines
  • Sort linens and clothing by type, color, and cleaning requirements
  • Inspect linens for stains, damage, or wear and report any issues to the supervisor
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels of linens and laundry supplies
  • Keep laundry areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards
  • Attend required meetings
  • Be extremely courteous to all customers and fellow employees
  • Report unsafe conditions or malfunctioning equipment to your supervisor immediately
  • Maintain hotel equipment in proper working condition
  • Assist other departments with linen or laundry needs as requested
  • Any other duties assigned by your immediate supervisor
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas
  • Display courteous behavior with guests and team members
  • Report any unsafe conditions immediately
  • Ensure hotel equipment is in proper working condition
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
