Requirements

Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas
Display courteous behavior with guests and team members
Report any unsafe conditions immediately
Ensure hotel equipment is in proper working condition
Perform any additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
Hotel Operations or Customer Service preferred
Communicate effectively with others
Works productively with a team
Effective multitasking skills
Composure and patience under pressure
Skilled in working with multiple computer programs- Must be comfortable using devices to communicate with team members and to complete checklists daily (i.e. Alice system.)

Responsibilities

Wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens, towels, and other laundry items in accordance with hotel standards
Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently, including washers, dryers, and ironing/folding machines
Sort linens and clothing by type, color, and cleaning requirements
Inspect linens for stains, damage, or wear and report any issues to the supervisor
Maintain appropriate inventory levels of linens and laundry supplies
Keep laundry areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards
Attend required meetings
Be extremely courteous to all customers and fellow employees
Report unsafe conditions or malfunctioning equipment to your supervisor immediately
Maintain hotel equipment in proper working condition
Assist other departments with linen or laundry needs as requested
Any other duties assigned by your immediate supervisor
